Chicago ranked most corrupt city in UIC report

A study from The University of Chicago’s Political Science Department has determined Chicago to be the most corrupted city in the United States.  The study ranked the top US cites and states in regards to Federal Public Corruption Convictions.  Chicago lead the list with almost 200 more convictions than 2nd place city, Los Angeles.

In response to the report, Mayor Rahm Emanuel said, “I would question the judgement about where we rank, but I’m gonna leave that aside, cause that’s not important, what’s important is, ‘Do you have the political will to make fundamental changes in the system?'”

While Chicago was on top of he bottom, Illinois came in 3rd in regards to convictions per capita…so there’s that!
