Its the day we celebrate that potato treat that’s name is French but comes from Belgium!  That’s right, it’s National French Fry Day.  The unofficial holiday commemorates the delectable that was introduce in the 17th century.  Its an easy holiday to celebrate: just have some fries!

Several stores are getting into the holiday spirit with deals all day long.  Burger King has whipped up their Buffalo Ranch fries just for today.  Taco Bell has also dug up their nacho fries for a limited time.  McDonald’s is giving away free medium fries with a purchase of $1 or more and Dunkin Donuts’ donut fries are only $2.  Check out these and other fry deals at USAToday.com.
