The once massive chain of stores has fallen on hard times, not drawing the amount of customers it once did. The Six Corners Sears closes forever this Sunday. This Sears opened back in 1938, 13 years after Sears arrived in Chicago in 1925. It had 113 employees working there at the announcement of plans to close the store.
