Stan Mikita who helped bring the bring home the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 1961 has passed away. In recent years he has been in poor health. Mikita was the first Chicago Blackhawk to have his jersey retired in 1980. He was inducted into the hall of fame 3 years later. Stan Mikita was 78.
