George Harrison’s Cavern Club guitar could sell for $500K

The guitar that was played by George Harrison during The Beatles‘ final appearance at the Cavern Club in Liverpool is expected to sell for $500,000.  According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the guitar, a Maton Mastersound MS-500, was sold in 2015 for $485,000.

The auction, which will take place on September 12th and 13th, will also feature a Pink Floyd amplifier, and guitars owned by Steve Howe and Maurice Gibb.

The auction follows the sale of Harrison’s first electric guitar in May, which sold for $430,000.
