If its fall, it means pumpkin fests!  Bengtson’s pumpkin farm offers a haunted barn, fun barn, rides, petting zoo, pumpkin chucker and more!

Andersonville Arts Week
September 14th – 16th
This art fest will include scenic art walks, live performances, markets and shops and concludes with a big party.

Chicago Turkish Festival
Through September 15th
Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park
This free cultural fest includes samples of the art, music, dance and very tasty food of Turkey (the country, not the bird!).

Glendale Heights Oktoberfest

Celebrate October in September with this German beer fest that offers music, food and fun!

Oak Park
This “Oaktoberfest” offers a kid’s root beer garden on top of beer and wine for adults.  There will also be live music and fine food from local restaurants.

Fulton Market Harvest Fest

On West Fulton Market (from Halsted to Peoria)
At this food market, you will also be able to hear live music, check out cooking demos and take part in fun activities.

Fall Arts & Crafts Adventure

Check out this free juried show and partake in fun and creative crafts.

St. Joseph Oktoberfest
September 15th (12PM to 5PM)
Can’t get enough German food and beer!  This Oktoberfest also has an antiques market, kids’ games, live music and rides.

Pilsen Mexican Independence Day Parade

This Mexican Independence Day celebratory parade is filled with bands, floats and more!

South Chicago Mexican Independence Day Parade
September 16th (1PM)
On Commercial Avenue (87th Street to 100th)
See Mexico celebrated in this massive parade with all the bells and whistles.

Printer’s Row Art Fest
September 15th – 16th
near Printer’s Row Park on Dearborn Street (from Polk to Harrison)
This marks the inaugural debut of the Printer’s Row art fest which includes a juried show, music, food and more!

Lakeview Taco Fest
September 15th – 16th
On Southport Avenue (from Addison to Roscoe)
Tacos, tacos tacos!  Taste tacos from several restaurants and vote which is best!  There will also be drinks, live music, Mexican wrestling and activities for the kids.

Ravenswood ArtWalk
September 15th – 16th
Along Ravenswood Avenue
300 artists will be in attendance with works and crafts for sale.  There will also be live music, food, a beer garden and activities for the whole family.

Riverwalk Fine Art Fair

See art from 140 artists at this juried fair and check out the beautiful riverwalk while you’re there!

Monarch Butterfly Festival
