Vintage ceramic trees are making a comeback

Retro holiday decorations are all the rage this holiday season. Southern Living notes that vintage ceramic Christmas trees are being sold everywhere this holiday season, from Amazon to Walmart. And though getting a true vintage piece from the ’70s will cost you upwards of $70, you can pick up modern versions for a lot less.

The ceramic decorations first popped up in the ’40s, but didn’t gain popularity until the ’70s, according to eBay. Also, if you do happen to find a real vintage one in your attic, you can make it look great again by purchasing replacement bulbs and a new tree base.
