Chicago River dying is this Saturday – Here’s what you need to know

Chicago is the place for all things St. Patrick’s Day.  One of the crown jewels of our celebrations is the Chicago River dying.  This year’s dying will take place at 9AM between the Columbus Street and Michigan Avenue Bridges.  For those who can’t make it out, we will be doing a Facebook Live on our 94.7 WLS-FM Page.

Check out last year’s river dying from the 94.7 WLS studio here.

The Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130 will once again head the event.  They have been doing so since Richard Daley Sr.’s time as mayor, in 1962.  Read more fun facts at IrishCentral.com
