Set for release on June 21st via Virgin/EMI is a previous unheard vocal from Freddie Mercury on the tune, “Time Waits For No One.” iNews.co.uk reported the tune — which was originally released as part of Dave Clark‘s 1986 musical soundtrack, Time — has been revamped, with a previously unreleased Mercury vocal take, and a new piano accompaniment.

Dave Clark, today a music mogul, but best known to American fans as the drummer and leader of the Dave Clark Five, said of the 2019 Freddie Mercury single, “The version rehearsed at Abbey Road was just Freddie with a piano. It was magic and it gave me goosebumps. The produced version ended up with 48 vocal tracks. It took me years to track down the original master tape of just Freddie singing.” The track will be released will an accompanying “film of Mercury performing and talking about the song, captured at (London’s) Dominion Theatre.”
