One of Chicago’s biggest tourist attractions was vandalized Tuesday morning at 12:00 AM.
Millennium Park’s “Bean” was spray painted in white color with gang related graffiti. Additional graffiti was spotted at Maggie Daley Park’s Cancer Survivors’ Wall.
Seven individuals are involved and in custody. Police say charges are pending at this time.
“The Bean” is made up of 168 stainless steel plates and measures 33 by 66 by 42 feet. The Chicago artifact weighs a whopping 110 short tons.
