Eddie Money has canceled the remained of his 2019 tour dates. Money, who had undergone successful heart valve replacement surgery in May, is dealing with complications from the procedure that are forcing him to sit out his planned road dates. A spokesman for Money told Ultimate Classic Rock, “Eddie Money developed pneumonia while in the hospital after his heart valve procedure. He is now on the mend, but, unfortunately, he had to cancel his summer concerts — a first for him in his 40-plus year career. He needed this extra time to fully rest and recuperate. Eddie hopes to be back later this year to promote his new album Brand New Day and also the premiere of the second half of his reality show Real Money.”

On July 19th, Eddie Money will release Brand New Day, his first new album since 2007. Money’s reality show with his family, Real Money, airs on AXS TV on Sunday nights at 8:30 p.m. ET.
