Rolling Stones get their own rock on Mars

The Rolling Stones now have their own rock in Mars! According to Billboard, NASA named a stone “Rolling Stones Rock” after its InSight robotic lander captured it rolling across the surface of Mars. On Thursday night (August 22nd) Robert Downey Jr. announced the name of the rock at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California before the rock band.

In between songs, Mick Jagger spoke on ‘Rolling Stones Rock’ saying, “NASA has given us something we have always dreamed of, our very own rock on Mars. I can’t believe it.”

He added, “I want to bring it back on put it on our mantelpiece.”
