Todd Rundgren, the Monkees’ Mickey Dolenz and more unite supergroup to tour The Beatles’ ‘White Album’

It’s the 51st anniversary of The Beatles‘ “Abbey Road” and some notable music figures are celebrating!  Todd Rundgren, the MonkeesMickey Dolenz, Badfinger’s Joey MollandChristopher Cross and Jason Scheff of Chicago are teaming up for the “It Was Fifty Years Ago Today — A Tribute to the Beatles’ White Album” Tour.  Neither of those aforementioned numbers are wrong, this year marks the 51st anniversary and the title highlights “Fifty Years.”

The Classic Hits Supergroup will perform hits from the hits from The White Album which include, “Back in the U.S.S.R.,” “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da,” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”

The “It Was Fifty Years Ago Today — A Tribute to the Beatles’ White Album” Tour will be stopping by in Chicago land next month.

October 1st – St. Charles, IL at the Arcada Theater

October 6th – Concord, NH at the Capitol Center For The Arts
October 7th – Orono, ME at the Collins Center For The Arts
October 08th – Ridgefield, CT at theRidgefield Playhouse
October 10th – Staten Island, NY at the St. George Theater
October 11th – Boston, MA at the Berklee PAC
October 12th – Westbury, NY at the Theatre at the Westbury
