Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-Lanterns

Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe
See so many creative and cool jack-o-lanterns at this fun event for all ages.  See pumpkin carving in the act, check out live entertainment and more!

Halloween Hollow

Mokena Main Park
Head to this carnival that features entertainment and food for the whole family.  There will be pony rides, live music and plenty of Halloween activities.

Arts in the Dark Halloween Parade

The free parade, which goes north State Street from Lake Street to Van Buren, features live music, unique floats, giant puppets, and unusual costumes.  Then head to the free afterparties at Millennium Park and Maggie Daley Park.

Wheaton Haunted Halloween Flea Market

This Halloween-themed flea market features live music, food vendors, and antiques & collectibles for sale.

Nightmare on Chicago Street
October 19th (6 to 11 p.m.)

A zombie-themed party with two entertainment stages, bands, food vendors, a costume contest, and graffiti artists on Chicago Street (from Douglas to Villa).  Anyone under age 17 must be with a parent or guardian.

Boo at the Zoo
