Elton John, Eagles and Guns N’ Roses are among the world’s top-earning musicians of 2019, according to the annual Forbes list of the year’s 40 highest-paid musical artists.

Topping the list was Taylor Swift, who collected $185 million in the past year, with the rest of the Top 10 between her and Metallica including Elton John, Eagles, Kanye West, Ed Sheeran, Metallica, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Drake and Diddy.

Guns N’ Roses took the Number 25 spot.

To determine its rankings, Forbes considers income from touring, music and outside business ventures with the help of Pollstar, Nielsen Music and interviews with industry insiders, including many of the stars themselves. Forbes’s list measures pretax earnings and does not deduct fees for agents, managers or lawyers.
