Ozzy Heading to Liverpool to Honor Lennon
Ozzy Osbourne and wife/manager Sharon are set to head to Liverpool to honor John Lennon's 70th birthday, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Journalist Tina Miles reports that the pair were invited to the city for the October 9th celebration. Ozzy, a huge Beatles fan, got the invite from Liverpool Lord Mayor Cllr Mike Storey.
“Ozzy is a huge John Lennon fan," said Sharon. "I imagine he will want to see all the sights and maybe stay in the John Lennon suite at the Hard Days Night Hotel. Can you imagine everyone seeing Ozzy walking down Mathew Street – they would think he was a lookalike.”
