Dave Fogel

Dave grew up the son of a DJ, his dad (Jerry) played some of the same songs Dave is playing now on WLS-FM! There's a lot of moving around the country with two generations of DJs in the family, and Dave has been proud to call Chicago home since the 90s.

A midwest kinda guy, Dave went to the University of Missouri and subsequently worked radio jobs in Kansas City, San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Detroit. Dave is an "empty nester" now with two kids in college and both are student athletes. His daughter is a swimmer at the University of Arkansas and his son plays baseball for Washburn University. Mrs. Fogel is busy trying to figure out how to live downtown without kids, "this is the toughest move yet-from the suburbs to downtown living!" she says. "I'm excited to finally be working with Scott Shannon", Dave says. "We've been trying to work it out for years!" "And to be on the same station as Greg Brown and Mr. Biondi, I'm not worthy."
