Kelli was born in Chicago but grew up in a small town in Arkansas only to return back to Chicago after high school to attend DePaul University.  With a communication degree under her belt, she soon headed to the Illinois Center for Broadcasting where she graduated in 1999. 

Kelli comes from a small family, just her mom and grandmother--and they are the love of her life!  Kelli has a cat but can't wait to own her very own German Sheppard - she’s a regular "animal planet" fan!  Kelli has always wanted to be a storm chaser growing up and says she can't wait to see Brant's Doppler Radar! 

She loves sports and in her opinion, “football season is truly the most wonderful time of the year.”   Kelli never feels more blessed than when she wakes up early in the morning with a yummy cup of coffee watching the sun rise over Lake Michigan humbly reminding her that no matter what comes, when there is hope there is life!
