Snug Hugs For Kids is an annual clothing drive conducted by Merlin 200,000 Mile Shops located in Illinois and Wisconsin. The drive starts on November 1st of each year and continues for a six week period.

Fibromyalgia Support Group (Health)

Fibromites Unite is a support group for fibromyalgia patients and their families. We meet once a month and offer support, guest speakers and social activities. The topic this month is Stress Management presented by Chiro One.
Miracles For Mikey (Benefit/Fundraiser)
Time: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Location: 115 Bourbon Street -3359 W. 115th Street - Merrionette Park, IL
Please join us “Miracles for Mikey,” a benefit for Michael “Mikey” LaPorta, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He has undergone surgeries at Christ Memorial Hospital and was recently transferred to Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), where he will receive therapy and be surrounded by the best care. On Saturday, August 28th, the “Miracles for Mikey” committee (made up of Mikey’s close family and friends) will be hosting a benefit at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, from 3pm-7pm, to help support Mikey and his family during this recovery. Please join us for Food, Drinks, Raffles, Silent Auction, and Prizes! We would greatly appreciate your support in making our event a success.
