94.7 WLS-FM was out at the Lake County Fair in Grayslake from July 27th until August 1st! On Friday, July 30th, morning DJ Dave Fogel had the honor of introducing legendary Beatles tribute band American English!

On Tuesday, June 29th 2010, the Honorary Dick Biondi Way was unveiled on the corner of Lake Street and Garland Court. Family, friends, and listeners gathered to hear Dick speak, as well as members of the New Colony Six, the Cryan Shames, the Mauds, and the Ides of March. An official city alderman revealed the sign to uproarious applause as legendary DJ Bob Sirott made a speech congratulating Dick.

Rockin’ For the Troops
94.7 WLS-FM partnered with Operation Support Our Troops Illinois for the 5th Annual Rockin’ For the Troops concert on Saturday July 17th. Dave Fogel & Greg Brown hosted the event, which featured Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, Rockie Lynne, and Blue Moon Swamp!

94.7 WLS-FM was out at Elmhurst on July 14th for Cool Cars Under the Stars! The theme was "Mopar AMC Night: Imperial, Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth." As always, WLS-FM provided the tunes and joined in on the fun!
