94.7 WLS-FM's "True Oldies Collection: Volume One" CD Release Party at Borders in Oakbrook on Saturday, July 31st
94.7 WLS-FM held a party at the Borders in Oakbrook on Saturday, July 31st, to celebrate the release of their very first CD: "True Oldies Collection: Volume One"! In attendence were DJs Dave Fogel, Maura Myles, Greg Brown, Dick Biondi, and Danny Lake! Band "August" played to an enthusiastic crowd that had first dibs at getting their very own copy of the CD autographed by all of the DJs! Proceeds from the CD go to the Children's Home + Aid with special thanks to Merlin 200,000 Mile Shops.

On Tuesday, June 29th 2010, the Honorary Dick Biondi Way was unveiled on the corner of Lake Street and Garland Court. Family, friends, and listeners gathered to hear Dick speak, as well as members of the New Colony Six, the Cryan Shames, the Mauds, and the Ides of March. An official city alderman revealed the sign to uproarious applause as legendary DJ Bob Sirott made a speech congratulating Dick.
