2020 has been a weird year of many things we never thought would happen. But, why stop there? Some senators from Florida are proposing we don’t adjust our clocks in America for Daylight Saving Time this year due to the pandemic.
Sen. Rubio: “Our government has asked a lot of the American people over the past seven months, and keeping the nation on Daylight Saving Time is just one small step we can take to help ease the burden.”#LockTheClock ⏰ pic.twitter.com/D8xnghysYb

Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott suggest that this would help maintain some stability for families in particular during this unstable time. Families would not have to adjust to a sudden new schedule for e-learning and schooling. The proposal isn’t meant to be permanent but if we try and all love it… who knows?
