So, what happens to all those Christmas trees used to decorate Brookfield Zoo over the holidays?.. They get turned into play-things for the animals!

Brookfield Zoo gave their animals treats in the form of “Enrichment treats.” These were basically undecorated trees that were on display, repurposed with treats for each animal.

And they LOVED them! From buffalo to wild dogs to polar bear, these creatures had a ball with their treats.
