According to Science THIS is when you should be buying Concert Tickets

FinanceBuzz.com has a new report, which investigated pricing patterns on the secondary market: through StubHub, Seatgeek, and Vivid Seats.  They looked at tens of thousands of ticket purchases and made some interesting observations.

Basically, they say it pays to wait: Concert-goers spent 33% less than average on tickets when buying them on the day of a concert, and 27% less than average the day before.

And for music festivals, the best time to buy passes was just under two weeks before the festival: prices were 30% below average 13 days before the festival start, and 24% below average 12 days out.

It may feel stressful to wait until the last minute, but A LOT of people do it.  According to the report, 25% of the concert and festival tickets that are sold on the resale market are bought in the final week leading up to the event.
