Rocky the Coyote has an interesting background. The coyote was actually believed to be a German Shepherd as a puppy when he was adopted by a family. That’s where Ricky Gervais comes in. The comedian joined along with the Defense of Animals organization to demand the release of Rocky. The group would like to see Rocky transferred to a wild animal sanctuary in Colorado where he can roam free and be happy.
