Drive-In Movies!

These Once Endangered Species Are Making A Comeback In 2020… Drive-In Movie Theatres!

There are some silver linings to our new norms of social distancing, and one is the return of the Drive-In. The Chicago area had dwindled down to ONE Dive-In up in McHenry after Cascade in West Chicago closed last year, but now we have a bunch popping up and maybe more to come!

  1. Golden Age Cinemas in McHenry

Shout out to the Grandfather of Drive-Ins. The one that never quit and was first to open this year. The nostalgic McHenry Outdoor Theater continues to make memories for thousands of families in the McHenry County Area.
