AROUND TOWN: Check out Chicago’s Random Fandom improv group

Random Fandom was formed because there was a demand for nerd-based comedy in Chicago. Over the last few years, conventions have been adding improv workshops and shows into their events and programming. However, a handful of those nerds decided that one or two nerdy improv shows a year wasn’t enough, so they came together to meet the comedic needs of the nerd community.
