Pinball anyone?  The first successful coin-operated pinball game was made in Illinois 1931.  Other inventions on the list include the cell phone, TV remote control, dish washer, birth control pill and Twinkies.  Innovations you can vote for include meatpacking, blood banks, computer assisted education and the skyscraper.  Voting on “inventions and innovations” concludes Friday, March 30th.
