Wrongfully imprisoned White Sox employee gets his life back

Nevest Coleman was welcomed back to White Sox park after 23 years in prison.  Coleman was charged for rape and murder, only to be exonerated 20 years later with the help of DNA evidence.

“I want to sit back for a while, get to know my family, and when the time comes around, go back to Comiskey Park,” Coleman would say in regards to his eventual release.  Upon learning of Coleman’s innocence, the White Sox reached out to Coleman and offered to hire him back as part of the groundskeeping crew.  Monday was Nevest Coleman’s first day of work at Guaranteed Rate Field and he seems very happy to be back.
