Elite Traveler has compiled their yearly list of the 100 best restaurants in the world and Chicago came out on top.  Alinea, located at 1723 N. Halsted St., was crowned number 1.  The restaurant returns to the list, rising from its number 2 spot.

Next (at 953 W. Fulton Market) came in at 41st and the final Chicago restaurant that made the list was Smyth and The Loyalist (177 N. Ada St.).   The latter of the two recently boasted one of the best 3 burgers in America.
