Poke’mon Go will try again with another Chicago fest

“Fix the game!  Fix the game!” was chanted loudly in Grant Park by thousands of fans last year at Chicago’s Poke’mon Go! Fest.  Hosted by Niantic, the company that created the popular augmented reality app, the event received a lot of backlash as the server kept crashing and people who had traveled from all over the world couldn’t play.

Well, Niantic wants to try it again.  Despite a settled a class-action lawsuit for about $1.6 million, the company thinks they’ll get it this time.  The next Pokemon Go Fest will take place in Lincoln Park in July.  While there is no announcement of ticket price yet, last year were $20 to attend.
