Summertime is around the corner and Chicago is celebrating with several events and activities along the riverwalk throughout this weekend. ABC 7 Chicago has a full list of everything happening on the waterfront, but here are a few of our favorites.
The Chicago Water Taxi will kick off its 2018 season tomorrow, Friday, May 18th. If you’ve never ridden the water taxi before, its one of the best ways to get around the loop. Stops include Union Station, Chinatown and even a stop right by our place place of operations, NBC Tower.
The Pyrotechnical Water Display returns. The featured image in this article doesn’t do the view justice. This is a must-see in-person as fire-falls into the river off the LaSalle Street, Clark Street, Dearborn Street and State Street bridges. This takes place at 8:15pm on Friday.
