Facebook may be less popular with the younger generation, but that’s not stopping folks from downloading the app. The Apple iTunes App Store turns ten years old on July 10th, and in celebration, market research firm AppAnnie compiled a list marking the trends of the last decade– including the most downloaded apps. Overall, Facebook is the most popular app downloaded from the store, followed by: Facebook Messenger, YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps, Snapchat, Skype, WeChat (Chinese messaging app), and QQ (Chinese messaging app.)
