The toy company that produces classic toys such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, He-Mann and more has created their own film devision. Mattel hopes to jump on the same band wagon as Lego and Hasbro have to create movies featuring their properties. The devision will be lead by producer, Robbie Brenner, who has overseen “Dallas Buyers Club,” “The Fighter,” “Dear John,” and many more. A Barbie movie is in the works. Will Barbie be the next hit of the summer? Will Hot Wheels be the new Fast and Furious? We will find out soon enough!
