The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) has issued a new guidance calling on manufacturers to ensure that baby toys and baby monitors sold to families are secure from hackers.
A baby monitor was recently hacked giving fake information about the position and temperature of the baby.
The NCSC was able to show how an interactive doll could be compromised and used to unlock a wifi-connected front door.
