Star Wars fanatics have a new reason to plan a trip to France. That’s because the country’s fencing federation has officially recognized dueling as a competitive sport. Duelists battle in very physical 3-minute bouts. The French Fencing Federation is in support of the sport as it sees it as a good way to get people off the couch. It’s now equipping fencing clubs with lightsabers and training for would-be lightsaber instructors.
