Mick Jagger says ‘Thank you’ to fans while recovering after surgery

Mick Jagger is officially on the mend after undergoing successful heart valve procedure in Manhattan. On Friday (April 5th), the Rolling Stones‘ frontman posted a message to fans and will wishers on social media, saying: “Thank you everyone for all your messages of support, I’m feeling much better now and on the mend — and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job.”

The Stones’ tour will go on with the rescheduled dates happening as early as July. The band’s 15-date trek was supposed to kick off on April 20th in Miami Gardens, Florida at the Hard Rock Stadium. As it stands now, the only date that’s been canceled is the May 2nd appearance at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, for which Fleetwood Mac has been drafted to perform in the Stones’ spot.
