The long wait is over! The Elton John biopic Rocketman opens nationwide today (May 31st). Rocketman, which was written by Lee Hall and directed by Dexter Fletcher — with leading man Taron Egerton already being singled out for his Oscar-worthy performance as Elton. Rather than lip-sync to Elton’s original masters, Egerton supplied his own vocals over newly recorded tracks.

Elton and Egerton duet on the movie’s theme song “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again,” which was written by Elton and Bernie Taupin and co-produced by Giles Martin and Greg Kurstin.
