Google Maps can now help you gauge how unbearable your commute on public transportation will be. In a blog post, Google Maps revealed it can provide live traffic and delay updates for buses, and predict how packed trains will be. Google crowd-sourced this information from commuters between October 2018 and June 2019, with some commuters getting pop-ups asking whether their subway or bus ride was crowded.
