That classic confection of soda and ice cream gets its own holiday today and some places are getting in on the celebration.   A&W Restaurants are appropriately giving away free floats today from 2PM to 8PM.  Sam’s Club is selling floats for 99 cents today and Wienerschnitzel will give you a free root beer float if you buy anything off the menu.  I can’t think of a better (non-alcoholic) summer drink!
