Popeye’s new chicken sandwich, which sparked a frenzy of people waiting on lines to try it and an online battle with Chick-Fil-A, is now sold out. Popeye’s said yesterday (August 27th) that the supplies that were supposed to last until October are all gone. The fast food chain tweeted the bad news, but said they, quote, “pinky swear” it’ll be back. The chicken sandwich was launched on August 12th.
