MLB.com released a list ranking regional hotdogs by their “Weirdness.” Surprisingly, the website considered the Chicago style hotdog pretty weird. On this list of 36 dogs, The Chicago Hotdog was named the 16th weirdest for it’s long list of ingredients. MLB.com calls it, “The most demanding hotdog in the world,” adding the reminder of, “And watch out if you dare to put ketchup on this. These people are hot dog rule-makers.” I won’t argue against that!
Way toward the top of the list as the number 2 weirdest hotdog is the “Francheesie.” This hotdog is described as a hotdog stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, deep fried and placed in a poppy seed roll. Save this one for your next cheat day!
