Chicago lands in Top 10 Food Cities List

Wallet Hub just posted its annual list of the best cities if you’re a huge FOOD snob.  Chicago was omitted from last year’s top 10, but this year, it jumps into 9th place.  I feel like we should be higher…  Anyway, they look at everything from the cost of groceries and booze, to things like how many food trucks and cooking schools there are.

The top ten cities for foodies in 2019 are:

  1. Portland
  2. New York
  3. Miami
  4. San Francisco
  5. Los Angeles
  6. Las Vegas
  7. San Diego
  8. Seattle
  9. Chicago
  10. Austin

Out of the 182 cities they looked at, Pearl City, Hawaii came in last.  The rest of the ten worst cities for foodies are Juneau, Alaska . . . Jackson, Mississippi . . . Augusta, Georgia . . . West Valley City, California . . . Moreno Valley, California . . . Fremont, California . . . Montgomery, Alabama . . . Nampa, Idaho . . . and Columbus, Georgia.
