If you were watching the evening news on WGN-TV November 22, 1987 you witnessed Max Headroom take over the airwaves at 9:15pm. To this day how it happened and who was behind it remains a mystery.
Max Headroom also hijacked WTTW later that evening, at 11:15pm. This takeover lasted much longer and was a bit more graphic, including a woman in a french maid outfit spanking him. If you’re curious you can watch it here.
