WATCH OUT falling ice SHATTERS car window near Hancock Building

When you see those, “Watch out for falling ice,” signs on the street, you’d better heed their warning.  One motorist got very unlucky when ice fell from the top of a building near the John Hancock Building (yes, I still call it that).

CBS 2 Chicago interviewed Kemieyan Harris who described the incident from inside his vehicle saying, “I thought somebody threw a brick!”  Even worse, Harris says the car was brand new!  Poor guy!

While you can’t do much to prevent ice from striking your car, just be very cautious and aware when you’re walking near any of the tall buildings in Chicago.
