A few months ago, we heard that there was a “Friends” reunion special in the works with the entire cast.  It was going to air on the upcoming HBO Max service… I guess I can cancel my subscription because it might not be happening after all.

Deadline says the negotiations have come to a standstill, with the cast and studio VERY far apart on money.  An HBO exec was quoted, stating, “There is interest all around . . . [but] today it’s just MAYBE.”
