Honey, he’s back! Rick Moranis has agreed to appear in Disney’s Honey, I Shrunk the Kids reboot, according to reports. The Joe Johnston-directed film will star Josh Gad as the son of the 66-year-old Moranis’ character, Wayne Szalinski.

Moranis has not appeared in a film since 1997’s ‘Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves,’ after the death of his wife.  He has since done voice over work for Disney’s “Brother Bear” movies and reprised his role in a special as his classic Canadian stereotypical character Bob of Bob and Doug McKenzie.
