Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers‘ guitarist Mike Campbell has postponed his upcoming tour and release date of his debut album by his solo band the Dirty Knobs until the fall. The album, which was originally announced for March 20th, titled, Wreckless Abandon, has now been pushed until September 18th.

Campbell said in a statement: “On Sunday night my doctors discovered some health issues, which, while fully treatable, need to be addressed before going out on tour. The good news, well, really it’s great news, is that I’m going to be just fine. The bad news, and I say this with much frustration, is the tour that was scheduled to start next week will need to be postponed and rescheduled for September.” Tickets for the rescheduled shows will be good for the new dates, with refunds also available at the point of purchase.
