Everyone is stuck at home, and Disney wants you to sing along with the stars. ABC has set a one-hour musical medley, titled The Disney Family Singalong. It will air April 16th with Josh Gad, John Stamos, Auliʻi Cravalho, Christina Aguilera, Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Bublé, and many morebelting out your family faves.
The show will include songs from “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Toy Story”, “Moana”, “Frozen”, and “High School Musical”. And yes, the words will be on the screen, so you and your kids can sing along. There will also be public service announcements about the Feeding America charity, and what it’s doing for those affected by the coronavirus.
“If there’s something that we’ve all learned in the past few weeks, it’s to cherish every moment and the importance of connection, whether through laughter, stories or music. We hope that we can help create some new unforgettable moments in everyone’s home in a way that only the magic of Disney can,” said Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment.
