The Miami Dolphins want to give families something to enjoy during the pandemic, announcing Tuesday, May 26th, that they will be turning their stadium into an outdoor drive-in theater. Hard Rock Stadium will be set up to hold 230 cars, and it’s envisioned that the types of things that will be shown include big games in Dolphins history, classic movies, commencement ceremonies, concerts and more.
We are excited to announce an open-air and drive-in theater that will showcase classic @MiamiDolphins content, classic films, host commencement ceremonies and more.
These experiences will stay in accordance with social distance policies.

They also plan an open-air theater that can host small groups in the stadium’s plaza. Food and drinks will be available through an online system and delivered to cars. Meanwhile, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said on CNBC yesterday that there will, quote, “definitely” be a football season this fall, and as of now, they’re planning have fans in the stands.
