Milwaukee’s Summer Fest and Indiana State Fair CANCELED… What about Lollapalooza??

As we enter phase 3, we’re gradually finding out, normal is not returning this summer.  The very popular Milwaukee Summer Fest and this year’s Indiana State Fair have officially been canceled.  Both, of course, were decided on based on health concerns regarding COVID-19.  While nearly every concert and fest that was intended for Chicago have also been canceled or postponed, Chicago’s arguably biggest yearly music fest, Lollapalooza, is still in the air.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot declared on May 22nd that she expected an update on the status of the fest in the following week.  We’re beyond that week now and there have been no hints given about Lollapalooza’s state.  So, Lolla remains scheduled for the week of July 30th through August 2nd, once again taking place in Grant Park.  Last year’s event drew a crowd of 400,000.
